BLACK RICH PORT 1 & 2 (Deluxe Black Vinyl CD, Metal Case)
Agallah The Don
BLACK RICH PORT 1
Maison De Funk are proud to be releasing the Deluxe Version of "BLACK RICH PORT 1 & 2", in a Special Edition Metal Case on Black Vinyl CD, featuring both albums and all 30 tracks of Agallah The Don's masterpiece opus which perfectly melds classic hip-hop with his Puerto Rican roots.
Maison de Funk is proud to present 'BLACK RICH PORT', the 50th release (and twenty-seventh solo album) from legendary Brooklyn emcee and producer AGALLAH THE DON.
A platinum and multi-gold selling artist, Agallah's catalog runs the entire breadth of hip-hop since the 90's, with absolutely no let up, working with royalty of the artform including DJ Premier, Sean Price, Mobb Deep, EPMD, Kool G Rap, Onyx, Group Home, Ras Kass, The Diplomats, Big Daddy Kane, The Alchemist and Roc Marciano.
"Black Rich Port" is an ode to Puerto Ricans and their place in hip-hop culture, underpinned as ever by majestic production from Agallah himself, and elite-level features from Tragedy Khadafi, GREA8GAWD, Jamal-Ski, Al Be Back, Young Amsterdam and M-Tundra.
Preceded by the single 'WHAT DIDDY GONE DO?', this album doesn't skip a beat and displays a fabled NYC hip-hop artist at the height of his powers, three decades deep in the game.
The Deluxe edition, draped in the colors of Puerto Rico, features the exclusive bonus track, street heater 'SUPPLY & DEMAND', and comes as a red & white picture vinyl with blue & white sleeve.

BLACK RICH PORT 2
First time round Don Agturo roped in elite spitters like Tragedy Khadafi and GREA8GAWD for an intense, at times angry, unapologetic recounting of Puerto Rico's rightful place in history and the contribution of its people to US and more specifically, Hip-Hop culture.
Black Rich Port 2 takes things a different route, as he leans ever further into the culture on tracks like "Nuyorican Flex" and "Dominoes" - right from the intro "Puertorican Roots", the Don makes his point clear, and this is a record still drenched in history and pride, with a sound clearly moulded by Agallah's first ever trip to Puerto Rico at the start of this year. The result is yet more exceptional Hip-Hop from one of the most consistent artists ever, exemplified by the first single "Verdad" featuring fellow PR emcee Cardona.
Opening with the heater "Spoken From Experience", Black Rich Port 2 reflects a Hip-Hop legend at peace with himself, reflecting on his life, history and legacy in the culture.
Guests this time out are not really required, but prodigy M-Tundra lends a hand on "Nuyorican Flex", "Albizu" and "Jimmy Buckets", and the unmistakable voice of Wu-Tang Clan's Cappadonna graces "The Only Option".
This is a mature, reflective album driven by a relaxed approach which melds PR culture and Hip-Hop in an authentic way, yet still sounds undeniably Don Bishop.
