Working with some of the hottest names in the underground since 2019, Wavy Da Ghawd has quickly established himself as one of the most unique producers in contemporary hip-hop.

His sound harks right back to rap's golden age, whilst staying indelibly of our times, a hard feat to pull off, and comparisons to production pioneers such as Madlib are by no means unmerited.

Whatever the prevailing sound of underground hip-hop in 2025 may be, Wavy is one of those rare artists who doesn't follow trends, but rather creates them, as modern classics such as 2021's "Ghawd's Eden", or last year's "Buck 50" (with Rome Streetz), "Washed Ashore" (with Waterr), "Bermuda Triangle" (with Passport Rav) and "Against All Odds" (with Spoda) attest to.

On "The Muse's Embrace", Wavy gathers some of his closest collaborators (Rome, Waterr, Spoda, Ty Farris, Passport Rav, GREA8GAWD, VNY, Ace SL) for a simply beautiful hip-hop record, which immediately transports the listener away from this world to a blunted hip-hop dreamscape with buzzy, melodic lingering samples, chopped effortlessly - this is one of those records that starts incredibly and just gets better from there.
