A titan of the new wave who has already etched his name into Hip-hop folklore, both via his own solo releases and his huge contribution as a founding member of the Umbrella, one of the most elite collectives currently operating in the underground scene; Snotty really needs no introduction.

Here at MdF we've been fans of Snotty for what seems like a very long time (!), going from stone cold classics like "Carfentanyl" to "Cash for Gold" and "Garments from Italy", Snotty albums just never let you down!

The Blue Carpet is no different, and back rocking over the music of frequent collaborator GOODPHELLA, Snotty sounds right at home here.

The beats allow space for reflection, and at this stage Snotty has nothing to prove as a lyricist, and it shows in his approach; while the guest list is elite - Pro Dillinger stops by for the jazzy "After Hours", Mvck Nyce on "Fast Lyfe", 2025's star BoriRock on "Fiend Club" and Kamron Bahani on the smooth "In The Kitchen".

In a crowded market in 2025, there aren't too many artists whose releases are all sureshots - Snotty is one of them.
