THE ADEPT is an album completed by ELOH KUSH and GIALLO POINT in early 2022 as lockdown and COVID continued to bear their toll, and the angst of the time is poignantly captured in Eloh's battle weary but unbowed rhymes.

From a production standpoint Giallo is a master architect of the modern underground hip-hop sound, with an immense catalog built up over the past decade and a half, including classics like the "No Visible Means of Income" series with SonnyJim and "Medellin I and II" with Smoovth, not to mention "Papitas i and II" with Estee Nack. 

On this record Giallo's crafting of his trademark obscure jazz and cinema samples provides the perfect base for Eloh to riff off, with fire features from Eloh's rhyme brother Supreme Cerebral, Jahbaton and Seshat Ali.
